This petition is about a broken and gender bias family court system. There are so many great dads out there that deserve an equal opportunity to have placement of their children. Many family court systems, especially here in the state of Wisconsin, favor the mother over the father the majority of the time. This saddens me.
I am a mother of two wonderful boys and although I do not get along with my ex-husband all of the time, my boys still deserve to see him. Recently, I have witnessed the most disturbing situation of a dad who is being denied of even 25% placement of his son, just because the mother does not want him to have placement. After being in court for almost two years and watching this dad fight his hardest for his son, I have decided that I can watch no more!
Dads deserve equal rights too!! Any fit parent should get 50% of placement with their kids. One parent is not more important than the other. This is why you should sign this petition. I want to bring attention to this broken family court system so more kids can have more time with each parent.
Kids need dads as much as they need moms!!! Please sign and help my cause!!!
