PROTECT FORESTS IN BORNEO ! PLEDGE TO ENLARGE NATIONAL PARKS

The Borneo rainforest is 130 million years old, making it one of the oldest rainforests in the world. There are about 15,000 species of flowering plants with 3,000 species of trees , 221 species of terrestrial mammals and 420 species of resident birds in Borneo.

FORESTS OF BORNEO ARE DESTROYED EVERYDAY, wood is sold and sent to Western countries, old forests full of biodiversity are replaced by huge an monotonous palm oil plantations with very low biodiversity.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's also reconsider the products, food and items that we buy, all around the World, as for example the wooden furniture and our food containing palm oil, we have our part of responsibility !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the internet, we can discover with horror that Orangutans are killed, raped, tortured, sold as living items.

This horror and such massive destruction is really unacceptable !
