Conversion therapy is the treatment designed to force people to be heterosexual and cisgender. Some techniques involve electroshock, nausea inducing drugs during the presentation of same-sex erotic images, psychoanalysis, and (though not still used) lobotomy. People who are in charge of this make LGBT youth think that they're worthless. They promote suicide of youth. And form a firsthand account, only about 25% of children 13-17 are still alive by the time it's over. Imagine if you had a child, and they killed themselves just because you sent them to conversion therapy. In all, it's unethical. Everyone deserves a chance. Don't take it away.
