Hunting for food is an activity engaged in by human beings since we first began as a species and considerably before. Trophy or sport hunting, on the other hand is a fairly recent perversion. So, hunting for deer, rabbit, squirrel, pheasant or quail should be strictly for meat. If you kill it, take it to a meat locker and let the butchers there dress out the carcass for either your own personal consumption or donation to a food pantry.
