- In this heat wave that has struck the country, working K9s have been dying in high numbers due to what would be called abuse or neglect if someone else had made the same "mistakes" or "accidents".
- Time and again, we see a valuable K9 officer put to rest due to their handler's negligence. (without knowing the stats, I would say we possibly have lost more K9 officers to their handler's neglect this year than from them dying in the line of duty apprehending criminals.)
- Something needs to be done to moderate working conditions for these animals before more die on the job!
- We need to see rules and regulations in place for working with K9s that address their concern to prevent them from dying because of heat strokes and other avoidable dangers.

Everyone, please take a moment to sign this petition to stop the deaths of more and more K9s.... those are really the only cops I can say I love no matter what :D And the careless cops that let them die over and over again are the target of this.... this will end up national I am sure this will spread in many circles with the help of everyone out here!
