The issue here is the way these pups are housed. In fish aquariums with restricted air flow, laying in wood chip type bedding.
Dogs should not be directly on cedar/pinen or any type of shavings. Especially without proper air flow, it can seriously damage their respiratory systems, which it already has. Healthy dogs have a cold wet nose, these dogs all have a warm, dry and crusty nose, indicating illness. Obvious upper respiratory infections. And should a puppy sample this bedding, (which puppy's will) it can cause a laceration and or impaction.
These puppy's are all lethargic, probably because they're immune system is weak from constantly trying to stay healthy. Not a single active puppy.
The only water source is a bottle like a hamster would have which limits water flow, not allowing proper hydration. If they can reach it. Some have to stand on hind legs to reach.
The tanks are not wide enough for German shepherd puppies, but they shove them all in anyway.
These dogs deserve much better. I have many reports of people receiving sick dogs.
Help me make them change their policies to have higher standards on the dogs care.
