Require Christ the King Church to Participate in Special Use Permit Process

Christ the King is building a Rectory consisting of over 8,000 Square Feet in Peachtree Heights West. The Rectory will include a two story, 3,000 Square Foot apartment style structure in the rear of the existing house. Zoning in Peachtree Heights West requires a Special Use Permit for uses that do not conform to single family. This allows the neighborhood to negotiate reasonable restrictions regarding hours of operation, number of temporary residents, parking, traffic control, etc. The City of Atlanta should require Christ the King to participate in this process to ensure the interests of the neighborhood are protected.

Please sign the Petition asking the City of Atlanta to require Christ the King Church to obtain a Special Use Permit before building an apartment style Rectory in Peachtree Heights West. Your signature is urgently needed before the NPU B meeting on August 5th!
