I've lived in Whitefish Montana all of my life. The town's clear, sparkling waters and towering peaks attract quite a few tourists throughout the year. There is one place that has never been touched. A large field just down the street from me. This place offers a home to lots of wildlife, from foxes to deer. Now, a big company has plans to build a HUGE apartment complex. This will:
- Force the animals living there to find a new home, which is hard in this quickly developing town.
- Create construction for months. Living down the road from that mess would make it hard for lots of kids to get to school.
- Block the stunning views of Glacier National Park for everyone, including the people in the complex.
- Ruin a space in my town that was one of the last pieces of wild.
- Turn a man's home into a traffic ridden place. How can you do that to a man who has lived next to that field longer than I was alive?
Overall, I believe this field should remain a sacred place in my town. Please help me accomplish the goal of stopping the construction workers. All it takes is five minutes of your time. Thank you.
