University of Wisconsin -Stevens Point Plans to Drop 13 Humanities and Social Science Majors.

Whereas the humanities and social sciences are major staples in education and our society,

and whereas the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has proposed to drop 13 humanities and social sciences majors, including history, English, philosophy, sociology, and Spanish.

Therefore, we the undersigned request that the university keeps these majors because they are essential to our society.
