Ashraf Fayadh, a poet, is facing a beheading for alleged accounts apostasy in Saudi Arabia. Regardless of the fact that Ashraf Fayadh explained it was another individual who gave false information to the Religious Police, Fayadh should not be facing a death sentence because of personal beliefs.

Fayadh's case is a perfect example of the bigger issue of the flawed system in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has one of the highest execution rates in the world. In 2015 alone, 152 people have been executed in a brutal manner in Saudi Arabia.  People may be executed for charges of apostasy, witchcraft, drugs, adult consensual sex with the same sex, and adultery.

Saudi Arabia must stop the unnecessary execution of it's people!

Tell the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Justice and Legal Reform to immediately release Ashraf Fayadh!
