Please sign and share this petition in an effort to stop the new project known as the Algonquin Pipeline Extension that is scheduled to be implemented in New York and other East Coast areas. Such an extension proposed to push fracked gas throughout these various states, putting the live of humans, animals and all who reside there in danger!

A proposal under the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is to implement the Algonquin Pipeline Extension through delicate areas on the East Coast, including New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. It is feared that this new project will present environmental and nuclear hazards for all residents; human and animals alike.

Anyone living in the areas or moving nearby could be exposed to Radium 226 and 228, which emits radon -- a leading cause of lung cancer. Radon takes a long time to decay, putting many people and other residents in grave danger.

The Algonquin Pipeline extension will bring a huge toll in terms of health hazards, risk for explosions, and damaged property for homeowners.

Proposers of the Algonquin Pipeline Extension in NY, CT and RI - Please reconsider implementing this proposed pipeline that will put many people's lives in danger. The Marcellus Shale is the site of the United State's most harried fracking of radon which is one of the leading causes of lung cancer. Moving forward with the Algonquin Pipeline Extension throughout the East Coast of our glorious USA will affect the lives of many, putting them in danger.
