Stop the Post Office discarding RubberBands on their delivery routes

Everywhere you go in the UK you will find discarded rubber bands, carelessly discarded on our pavements. These bands take years to decompose and can be a threat to wildlife, not to mention a corporate waste. No wonder postage costs are at an all time high when resources ate wasted like this. A postie can easily slip them onto their wrist or pocket instead and return them to the depot for re use.
