Save the Dolau Inn

To Whom it may concern.
It is our (Tourists and residents of West Wales/New Quay) understanding that your intentions are to close the Dolau Inn in Church street New Quay and create further accomadation for your other establishment. As you can see from the growing number of signatures on this petition it may not be an easy task as you first thought. This pub has a huge place in NQ history and would be doing a lot better had you given the refurbishment it had been promised instead of fobbing off the managers with lies. A very famous poet once wrote “Do not go gentle into that good night," and we, the voice of the Dolau intend not to.
One voice is quiet, many make a lot of noise.

So, the latest news for the Dolau is that when the current managers leave, Brains will board the whole pub up and leave it like that until they get the planning permission to turn it into accommodation. This may take years, so they dont care if this beautiful building in a conservation area goes to wrack and ruin as long as they get what they want!!

We are almost half way there and lots of media are taking notice. Its been shared all over Facebook and twitter and there are a lot of unhappy Brains customers out there. I know a lot of people say you cant fight a company as big as Brains but there is power in the masses, so please share everywhere and get everyone you know to sign. it will be too late to do anything the next time you come to NQ on your holiday so please do it now.x
