The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) 'force' themselves into your property. They provide a service that some of us dont necessarily want or use. They then demand you pay for something that you dont necessarily want to use. If you dont pay, they bully you into paying via bailiffs and court proceedings.
(This to me seems a lot like racketeering / extortion!!!)
TV stations, nowadays, are broadcast via a digital signal. The digital signal could therefore be easily be blocked from a tv and once paid for, a license number could be input through the tv (or internet, with a confirmed registered address) to enable the viewing of the service. If a monthly payment is missed, the service is restricted. This would mitigate the need to take people, who have little to zero interest in watching the BBC, to court to pay for it.
