The Baden Powell Road out of Stellenbosch has been under construction for nearly a year with bumper to bumper traffic every afternoon. For this entire time, is it a constant fight to get home alive to your family as the Taxis either speed past the standing cars on the left side of the road or up in the upcoming traffic lane.
Cars and trucks coming from the opposite direction needs to move to the yellow lane in order not to cause an accident as the taxis force them out of the way.
The passengers in these taxis need to wake up and take action and refuse to accept these reckless driving!!!!!!!!!
They are paying these idiots who drive these taxis to get them home alive and safe but the drivers are playing Russian roulette with their lives.
Visible and honest police officers need to be on the roads and either fine these idiots or clamp down on their taxis as innocent people are losing their lives. I am urging the Stellenbosch Traffic Department to please wake up and come to the rescue of innocent people following the law, but needs to fight these out-laws every single day.
