Our sweet housecat Lyla was shot in our hometown. She liked to go outside and sit in the sun. I rescue cats so when I went to feed my outdoor when, Lyla was sitting on the deck. I called her to come inside but she just sat there and it struck me as odd. I glanced down and beside her was a little pool of blood. I carried her in the house and saw what I thought was a gunshot wound. I took her to the Vet he said it was definitely a gunshot wound there was an entry and an exit wound. So he did everything he could to save her life. He gave her a seditive to ease her pain and kept her overnight. I called the next morning and they told me she had passed away. Now I am left with a deep sadness at the thought of never being able to hold her or have her greet me when I come home. She brought so much joy to my life and now my family and I are missing our Lyla.
