Two weeks ago, Angel, a 7-year-old mixed breed dog, was sitting on a table in the "euthanasia" room at a Gainesville, Fla. animal control facility.
As the staff prepped her for the shot, she managed to charm them out of administering the fatal dose of life-ending drugs. Shortly thereafter, a desperate plea was issued to get her out of that facility before she wound up in the same "e-room" again.
That plea was heard, and answered.
Within 24 hours of issuing that desperate request to save Angel's life, members of the Kingdom New Destiny Animal Sanctuary notified the animal control facility that they would take Angel under their protective wing.
