We Are Warren Pride Night

To: Mayor Franklin, Superintendent Notar, WCS Board Members, We Are Warren.org, Paul Trina, Coach Arnold, and Band Director Reid Young

The following is a petition that has been going around Facebook and Twitter requesting a Night to Unite for the Students, Seniors, Football Players, Cheerleaders, Band Members, City Workers, WCS Staff, Athletic Staff, Leaders of our City, Warren Home Owners, Future Warren Home Owners,  and  Citizens of our great Home – Warren Ohio.

We support the decision made to cancel Nov 1 Game at Mollenkopf for the safety of our Students and Fans. However, because of the cancelation, the Negative Spirit in our City is winning and we had enough – When you Google Warren Ohio, you will find page after page of negative information on Warren Ohio from the past few weeks. Topics like, Two murders, Police on thug killings, possible shooting at Warren Schools, threats towards our kids, etc. 

Topics like these are hurtful enough and very emotional, but when you cancel a night the town normally comes together due to those terrible events, you cancel the spirit of the town. It doesn’t matter who canceled the Game or Why – The Facts are:

-          Senior football players, Cheerleaders, and Band Members missed out on their last night in front of their city representing themselves as a Raider

-          Senior Band Members missed out on Parent Night

-          Citizens gained and incredible amount of fear of what is becoming of the city of Warren

-          Future Home Owners got another reason not to buy in our City

-          Current Home Owners got another reason why they can’t sell their house

-          Because of misguided media, the Leaders of Warren are losing the trust

WE UNDERSTAND WHY YOU HAD TO CANCEL THE GAME – JUST DON’T CANCEL OUR SPIRIT AND FAITH IN WARREN OHIO

Together, we can build a night this City will never forget. We will build a moment that will tell Thugs and Negative Spirited people towards Warren, This is Our Great City!

We are requesting The Warren Board of Education and The City of Warren to give our Students, Seniors, Football Players, Cheerleaders, Band Members, City Workers, WCS Staff, Athletic Staff, Leaders of our City, Warren Home Owners, Future Warren Home Owners, and Citizens of our great Home – Warren Ohio, one last night At Mollenkopf Stadium – Give us a “Night to Unite” - Our Citizens need a Night of PRIDE – and our Seniors deserve their goodbye in front of their Fans

Tentative Date and Time: Would be a time and Date the Board, City, and Police feel would be the best night – Preferably at least 7 days for event planning and promoting the event

- Invite the WGH Marching Band to have their Senior/Parent Night (that was canceled) and give us one more electrifying halftime show with Script Raiders!!

- Invite the Ohio State Champion Warren G. Harding FRC Robotics Team 48 Delphi E.L.I.T.E. to receive the public recognition that was scheduled to happen at the cancelled game.

- Invite the Team and Cheerleaders to be introduced to the Fans One Last Time

- Invite all Former Warren Football Players to run-through the Band with our Team

- Invite all Warren sports teams and Coaches to be introduced to our Citizens

- Invite and introduce any available members of the Police Force - Fire Department - EMS that serves our great City

- Invite Warren Leaders (Mayor Franklin, Former Mayors, Ward Councilmen to talk about their District and this Great City

- Invite Community Youth Organization Leaders like (inspiring minds) to talk about their programs, and let them educate the Citizens on what they can offer. Also, allow them to set up tables in the Main Area with Sign-up Sheets

- Invite WEAREWARREN.org to introduce themselves to the City.

- For Our Entertainment
    - We are currently looking into Sponsorships for a  Firework Show
    - Warren Marching Band Halftime Show
    - Many Warren Positive Videos to play on our Video Board.

    - Give-a-ways – Many Warren businesses have reached out to Donate items such as Gift Certificates, Shirts,  etc.

- Raffles - 50/50

We need your support in making this night happen – I personally have a great network of promoters and event planners that can make this night happen, and we are asking Organization like We Are Warren.org to lend a hand – However, we need the support of the City and the WCS Board of Education,  to put this City back in a positive light. Please help us make We Are Warren Pride Night to Unite a Reality.
