Pink out the next Steelers home game!

D'Angelo Williams, a hard working halfback for the Pittsburgh Steelers has been denied his right to honor his mother and raise awareness for breast cancer outside of the month of October. Williams lost his mother to breast cancer last year and wanted to honor her while also making sure women all around the world know the benefits of regular examinations. One of the most obvious ways to do so, as a professional athlete is to wear the color pink.
Williams went to the NFL with the request to do so all year round and was met with an astounding "no" to which he said "It's not just about October for me; it's not just a month, it's a lifestyle. It's about getting women to recognize to get tested."
Clearly, the league only cares about breast cancer awareness when it makes them money in October. Let's help show our support to our very own D'Angelo Williams, his mother and every women in the world who may be fighting cancer by making our next home game at HEINZ field, a pink out!
