Tent City- Dallas

We want to build a "Tent City" in Dallas, Texas. A tent city is a minature community for homeless people in which they help with the upkeep. This would decrease the number of people on the streets, and also help them with recovery. Around 5% of the Texas population is or has experienced Homelessness. We want the city of Dallas to reserve land and build a Tent city to help keep the community safer and cleaner. The addition of a tent city in Dallas would be an example to the rest of the U.S. to raise awareness for homelessness.
