Say NO to Horse Slaughter Factory in Nevada

Another 41 horses from the Virginia Range outside of Reno have been captured by the state of Nevada with tax dollars and will be auctioned off as livestock. Department of Agriculture is flat lying to the public when they put out statements that horses that they dump off the livestock auction aren't at risk of going to the slaughter buyers.

Futhermore, the Nevada Board of Agriculture is discussiing how to open up a horse slaughter plant for the Virginia Range horses of Nevada.

Tell the Governor to stop capturing and selling his state's wild horses at livestock auctions and not to allow slaughter plants in Nevada. 70% of wild horse herds have been reduced below genetic viability level- it is time to protect them, not slaughter them.
