End Perfume/Cologne in Borel Locker Rooms

According to the University of West Georgia, approx. 30% of the population has an allergy or other medical condition that makes exposure to perfume/cologne uncomfortable or dangerous. At this point, banning perfume/cologne is not just about the stew of scents barraging our senses: it's a safety issue. We need to protect our youth, and our nostrils!

The creators of this petition have been contacted personally by multiple people who have expressed discontent with the current state of Borel locker rooms in direct relation to amount of perfume/cologne. If you're one of these people, you know the issues perfume/cologne pose in confined spaces. They tend to mingle, producing an awful stench that assaults everyone's sense of smell. We wish to eradicate this experience at our lovely school.

In an uncontrolled survey conducted on campus, 100% of participants said they would sign a petition to cut back on perfume/cologne usage in the locker room. The time to act is now. Sign, and we can give you a voice.

We, the undersigned, request politely and with the purest intentions that Borel Middle School modify their policy to accommodate those who inhabit the locker room and students with sensitivities to perfume.
