Make It Illegal For People With Mental Health Issues To Be Evicted And Made Homeless

  • by: Paul Rance

British Prime Minister Theresa May and other politicians have spoken out about helping people with mental health issues. Really? Many homeless people living on streets in the UK and around the world were evicted, when they really needed help and support. I was evicted by Aviva UK last year. Legally they had every right to do so, but as I was suffering from severe depression at the time, what about compassion being shown to people who often suffer in silence? Luckily, I was saved from homelessness at the last minute, but others aren't so lucky. Talk is cheap - it's time for politicians to prove that they do genuinely care about vulnerable people in our society.

Dear Prime Minister,

Please prove that you really do care about people who suffer homelessness as a result of mental illness issues, and strive to make it illegal for anyone with mental health issues to be evicted without no safety net of another place to live.

Kind regards,

Paul Rance.
