SCHOOL BUSEY FOR THE SAFETY of OUR CHILDREN.

We the undersigned, request the Hempstead School Board put a referendum to have school buses available to all school age children who live more than a half-a-mile from the school the attend ,on the May 19, 2015 ballot.

We are concern for the safety of the children who have to walk to school because of:
1. Children being attacked by gang members and others
2. Severe weather conditions such as sub-freezing temperatures; snow storms;
rainstorms; hail storms
3. Low attendance during adverse weather conditions
4. Dangerous traffic conditions because most schools are on major roads

Because of the above safety issues, it is imperative that our children deserve to have safe passage to and from their respective schools.
