I Woollcott like to see all law enforcement employees as well as court employees (Judges Cort Reporters, District Attorneys, Public Defenders, etc.) be held responsible just like everyone else. I think it would curb coruption, weed out those that are not sincere about the job they were hired to do. I think that it would help with the false accusations, and slow the police brutalities. Anyone found under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on duty as a public service employee should be placed on a mandatory leave of absence for a period of 1 month without pay while placed in a treatment program, and only after successful completion be allowed to return to work. If it is successfully completed then open returning to work back pay for that month may be given. If no successful completion is obtained said person should be immediately terminated. This creating an assentive for completing a program for their addiction. A win , win situation. It is also a fair solution for we the people of California to be Judged and Treated Fairly by the people up holding the laws that we should all be responsible to live by.
Thus creating less resentment towards law enforcement and less frivious law suites. WE SHOULD ALL LIVE UNDER THE SAME LAWS, ALL OF US, THIS SHOULD BE THE AMERICAN WAY.... THE FAIR WAY!!

This petition is to ensure that "WE ARE ALL TREATED EQUAL" Not just told that we are. Those who are up holding our laws should have no objections to random drug testing, if they are truly worthy of the jobs. We are asking nothing more from them then they ask of us.
THIS IS FAIR AND SAFE FOR EVERYONE
THESE TEST SHOULD BE GIVEN BY AGENCIES NOT CHOSEN BY ANY ONE THAT GOVERNS THESE PARTICULAR AGENCIES BUT BY ALTERNATING DRUG TESTING FACILITIES WHICH SHOULD BE SELECTED BY A DRAWING OF NUMBERS GIVEN INSTEAD OF NAME KEEPING THE DRUG TESTING COMPANY COMPLETELY SECRETIVE TO EVERYONE, AND NOT TO BE GOVERNED BY THE STATE OFFICIALS BUT BY THE PEOPLE.
While we appreciate our men and women of Law Enforcement and Officials of or Judicial system... we would like to believe that "they too" appreciate, and continue to appreciate us too.
