Advancing the Motion for Dropbox to Offer Better Rates and Storage

The Goal. To request Dropbox to review their membership plans to better accommodate users.

The Problem. When you think of cloud storage, Dropbox is probably one of the names that will come to mind. Since 2008, it has been one of the go-to cloud storage providers and up to this day, it remains one of the most trusted company providing the service.

But Dropbox has also been increasing its subscription fees. According to their website, a Professional plan includes 2TB of space, shared link controls, priority chat support, and other features like Smart Sync and Showcase. The price however can easily set you back at $19.99 monthly. If you don't want to avail of an upgrade, you're left with the Basic plan that only allows you to store up to 2GB of space, and you won't have access to the features mentioned above.

The Solution. With the amount of data being downloaded, saved, and exchanged on a daily basis, cloud storage has never been more important to users. That is why they need more storage space at lower prices. With this, Dropbox should consider the increasing needs of their users, especially those paying monthly for the extra storage and the extra services. Perhaps it's time for Dropbox to take a closer look at their storage plans and tailor them to better suit the needs of their users.

A good cloud storage should not only offer you the best services, they should also be within reach in terms of the fees you pay. GoodCloudStorage.net has more information about cloud storage providers for personal and business use.
