I live in a long term care facility and I met an older woman a short while ago. She
came from Morley, Alberta. a really nice, lovable and well loved woman living with myself; in Calgary, Alberta.
She is married, however Alice lives in Calgary, her husband lives in Cochran and she
has a daughter in Morley and another daughter in Calgary. They can Not get together often enough to visit and enjoy their time and relationship.
She has no type of transport to go outside and visit because she gets lost very easy.
Alice is very lonesome because she wants to see her husband in Cochran, her daughter and grandchildren in Morley and her daughter in Calgary. I was thinking
that possibly we could raise funds for Special Needs handi-buses or Courtesy Mini-Vans that go out of the City of Calgary. If we could raise $100,00 or something that
would be great if we could get some kind of Special Needs transportation going!
