Mortimer Funeral Home and Lakeview Gardens has made a bid to purchase Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery from the recievership for the cash amount of $ 37,700.00. In addition to the cash bid, Mortimer Funeral Home and Lakeview Gardens will honor all previous contracts "as-is" for Bronze Memorials, Concrete Vaults and Outer Burial Containers, Opening and Closing of Graves, and Graveside Equipment for services. This will ensure that plot owners DO NOT LOSE, property and merchandise they have already purchased from previous owners.
The Recievership Process will allow the new owner to choose not to honor any of contracts previously sold by former owners.
Mortimer Funeral Home and Lakeview Gardens are trying to prevent the loss of any purchases by plot owners.
If Mortimer succeeds in the bidding process, it will prevent any financial losses to plot owners and customers.
There are three others bidders on the cemetery.
Mortimer provided and serviced these contracts by the former owners for plot owners from September 2006 until November 2013, at no cost additional to the customers; at Mortimer's personal expense.
