Alice In Chains Deserves To Be Inducted

People should sign this petition because it's imperative that a band such as Alice In Chains be inducted into the Rock & Roll hall of fame. After many trials and tribulations,including an almost 13 year hiatus and the loss of co-lyricist and lead singer Layne Staley and later the loss of their founding bassist Mike Starr. Their almost 26 year span has brought not only sunshine to the rain, but questions and answers to inquisitive minds. All members,founding and present deserve this accomplishment as a piece of pride for all of their blood,sweet and tears. So let us sign this petition so that Layne Staley,Jerry Cantrell, Mike Starr,Sean Kinney, Mike Inez and William DuVall may share yet another proud moment of the recognition that is truly deserved.

Today is the day that we shut the petition down to get it ready for the RRHoF. We wanted to send out one more thank you for all of the sharing and signing you all did. You are all the reason this petition took off faster than we thought it would. Now, please keep this petition in your thoughts as it travels to New York where the foundation is. Evening my AIC Army! We've flown over our initial goal of 1,000 signatures, and have now been in 12 articles to date. I can't begin to thank you all enough. PLEASE keep sharing and signing, we have many more signatures to get. We are being super hopeful, super appreciative and we thank every single one of you for your signatures!!

Hello AIC Army! Today we're updating the fact that we've received over 300 signatures in the past 24 hours. I wish I could thank every single one of you on a personal level. We've decided because of the amazing support we've had, that we're upping the signature quota to 1,500. I think we can easily achieve this. If it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't be here <3 thank you so much.

Dear Alice In Chains Army, today we hit well over half of our signature quota! I feel the love every single time a signature is gained. You all mean so much, your support is the reason why this petition will be sent to the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame much quicker than we had EVER anticipated. I'd like to also send out a very special thank you to all of the family members and close friends of the band for signing. I am so honoured. Thank you!

As of today, we have received very close to half of our signature quota. My co-supporter and I have sent numerous emails to different magazines and things of the sort to try and promote this petition. As of right now, we just wanted to say thank you to those who have signed and to those who keep sharing this petition. It means a great deal to us.
