Demand that SANPARKS management does not euthanize Sylvester the lion

Sylvester the lion has escaped from the Karoo national Park. SANPARKS management says that euthanasia is a likehood as the animal poses a danger to human life.

Any lion will pose a danger to humans ,they are by nature wild animals. Relocating it to a more secure park or fixing their fences would certainly solve the issue.
Please sign this petition to avoid Sylvester from euthanasia. Our wild life is here for us to preserve and not to destroy.

To SANPARKS Management

Please take into consideration the attached signatures of people apposed to the euthanasia of Sylvester the lion.

We should be protecting our wildlife therefore SANPARKS must find an alternate solution. Relocation to a more secure facility is preferable.

N Dunn.

Update #28 years ago
Sylvester has been moved into an existing 200ha enclosure with two (2) young females who are currently in the enclosure. The CEO of Sanparks said that Sylvester at three years of age is still young enough to bond with the two females and establish himself as the resident pride male. The fence between Kuzuko and the neighbouring Darlington section is due to be dropped soon, which will then provide the three lions with 60 000 ha over which to roam.
