End Video Game Violence

  • by: Ryan Gardiner

Violence in video games is extremely common among our youth. This violence can put negative images into their minds and will have a life long effect. It is the federal governments duty to institute a federal ban on violent video games.

America has endured to much bloodshed from violent acts such as the Columbine School massacre and the recent Sandy Hook School shooting. These acts must be stopped. Three culprits of these horrifying crimes, (Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, and Adam Lanza) had obsessions with violent video games. There are also reports that terror organizations use these "games" for training purposes.

If we want these tragedies to stop, many measures must be taken, including banning violence (the killing of another human being, torture, first person combat, Etc.) in video games and interactive media.
