Thank Columbia for Banning Circus Animals

The Colombian Congress passed Bill 244,2012 to end the use of wild animals in both stationary and traveling circuses. Those who still have animal shows will have two years to evolve and allow the return animals to a suitable habitat.
The decison comes after a 6 year campaign led by ADI, (Animal Defense International), "Stop Circus Suffering". The ban is a result of undercover investigations that included filming, photographing and takes notes on the deprived environments, small cages, psychological suffering and the violent and brutal treatment of animals when being handled and trained.
Thank the Colombian Government’s ethical position of taking action to show that such treatment of animal suffering for human entertainment is unacceptable in civilized society.
