Say NO to Brookwood Farm Development

CALA Homes have submitted a planning proposal for 297 homes on the landadjacent to Brookwood Farm.
The proposal affects more people in more ways than you think, and we need to take action!
This petition is to campaign for this proposal to be rejected for the following reasons:
1) The A322 and Brookwood lights intersection is heavily congested already and can not take any more vehicles. The proposal also does not take into account the proposed development of 1200 homes at Deepcut barracks putting further strain on these roads.
2) Local schools (Knaphill and Brookwood) are at capacity meaning that it will be harder for our children to get into our preferred choice of school.
3) The development is dangerously close to Brookwood Heath and Sheets Heath which are wildlife sites of European and national importance through designation as Special Protection Areas (SPA) and Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). SPAs are important bird habitats. Brookwood Heath is also a wildlife site of European Importance and is a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). These areas are of international importance because they are home to endangered species and can not be risked.
We the undersigned are petitioning to reject the planned proposal of 297 homes at Brookwood Farm for the following reasons:
On this basis we believe the planning application can not be approved.
