Installing Walking Track at Thousand Oaks Elementary Park

The grass area of the park located at 840 Colusa Avenue is nice and available to both the school and the community but there is one problem, the drainage is not always the best and the ground itself is uneven in many spots. Because of this it to not be the best walking or running surface. We realize that the grass is also use for exercising and playing with dogs. This sometimes leave surprises (dog poop) that are not easily seen in the grass. With that and the rise of adult and child obesity in mind it would be so much more useful if the grassy area had a black topped or or synthetically surfaces track that could be used by all. Please join me in petitioning the city to make this happen.
