Petition summary and background
Metro Development LLC is proposing two, three-story apartment complexes adjacent to Scioto Woods [I. 1648 North Wilson Road (SE corner of Wilson Rd. & Trabue Rd.) II. 3747 and 3775 Trabue Rd. (includes Fairweather’s and wooded lot to the west)] Residents in the Scioto Woods, Cider Mill, Raspberry Run, Golfview Woods and other affected areas strongly oppose any rezoning that would allow these or similar apartment complexes in the areas mentioned (but not limited to) to be constructed. Our concerns include, but are not limited to; Lack of adherence to accepted and approved land use policies for the area, variance from City Codes, decrease in property values, increased traffic, crime and safety, destruction of green space, and other environmental effects.
Action petitioned for
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to deny Rezoning Application Z15-022, and Council Variance Application CV15-004 for 1648 North Wilson Road and any future rezoning application and council variance applications from current use for parcels at 3747 & 3775 Trabue Rd.
