Installation of a Brick Walkway for the Third Building Residents of Silverhill Coops

.  Easy access for residents to the front side of Building 3 instead of using basement

.  Escape route in case of fire, flooding, and mud slide

.  Easier route for a person who is handicapped

.  Easier route for the postman, deliveries, furniture movers, window washers

Dear Village Board,

After several sincere attempts to request a walking pathway from Building 3 of the above-captioned residence coops, we the undersigned are coming to you for an intervention.

The walk (see attached drawings and pictures) is being generously donated by one of the residents, Mary Ann Baskoff, of 321 Main Street.  When the requests were made to the Board of Silverhill and Palladian Management, we were told that "it's been this way for 50 years and no need to change it now!"  We don't believe the danger of a mud slide was in question there since the trees were seedlings then.  In addition, the wood railraid ties retaining wall is in poor condition.

Please bring us into the present time where we the residents of the back/front of Building three may have an easier access to their cars, to the center courtyard, and hopefully not, a quick escape route.
