Dog-Killer Michael Vick Does Not Deserve His New Job

Michael Vick, the retired quarterback and former dog-fighting operation owner who killed poor performers with his bare hands, has just been hired by FOX Sports as a studio analyst for "FOX NFL Kickoff," a TV show that airs before "Fox NFL Sunday."

“He was obviously an outstanding player, but we feel he has an incredibly bright future as an analyst," said John Entz, FOX Sports president of production and executive producer.

You know who didn't have an incredibly bright future? The dogs of Bad Newz Kennels who, according to the federal indictment, Vick personally killed by hanging them or slamming them to the ground. When three dogs survived being hanged, Vick helped hold their heads underwater until they drowned.

Yes, Vick pleaded guilty, served his time and apologized – but not for the horrible things he did to those poor dogs. Many other NFL players have never harmed an animal, and any of them would be a much better choice for "FOX NFL Kickoff."
