STOP UMASS FROM CLOSING OVER HALF OF ITS PSYCHIATRIC BEDS!!

Please sign this!! UMASS in Worcester MA is planning to close down 14 of their 27 Psychiatric Beds!!! This can NOT be allowed to happen!!! Psychiatric Beds are already a rare commodity! Mental Health patients systematically get screwed over! Funding for mental healthcare being cut, Beds being shut down, stigmatization, the works! UMASS campus has the only type that can accommodate high risk medical patients into their Psych Ward! If the Beds close, Psychiatric Patients will wait days to even WEEKS waiting for a bed opening!! Many being far from home!! And far from visiting accommodations!!!

PLEASE, SHOW THAT UMASS'S CORPORATE GREED IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

GIVE US HOPE FOR A FUTURE!!!

WE WON!!! THE WORCESTER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH RULED THE BEDS ARE NECESSARY AND MUST STAY!!! ALL OF THEM!!! Thanks to all who signed this!

THE WORCESTER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH WILL DECIDE IF THE BEDS ARE CRUCIAL OR NOT ON APRIL 14!!!! THAT IS IN 6 DAYS!!! PLEASE SHARE THIS PETITION WITH OTHERS!! WE NEED THE SIGNATURES ASAP!!
