In the U.K. viewing murders online is illegal. With the recent flood of terrorist videos readily available using a quick search, it should be imperative the public not be able to watch such horrific crimes. The media’s job is to provide pertinent information to the public, barbarism is unnecessary. More than anything, we need to shield the youth ( I.e. in the western world even toddlers) who readily use the internet, from watching these crimes that could lead to desensitization. Yes, there are parental controls, but how many of us are with our kids 24/7? And if it's useful for your job, I'm sure the jaw dropping footage is already available to you.
To those who have the power to do this,
Do it. For the sake of humanity and the fundamentals of peaceful living, why we work and ride this hamster wheel every minute of the day. And for the children, may they continue into the future to have 'sweet dreams' so they may dream big and shape this world into a better place.
