Please Revive The Spyro Franchise

Back in the late 90's through the early 2000's, Spyro was regarded as one of the best video game series ever created and rivaled the success of Crash Bandicoot games and even Super Mario Games at one point. Spyro was an epic video game franchise that had a lot of unique and magical aspects that made it different from a lot of other video games. These games contained beautiful magical worlds, unique and fun gameplay, unique likeable characters like Hunter, Moneybags, Elora, Professor, Zoe, the egg thieves, Bianca etc., frustratingly fun missions, beautiful music composed by Stewart Copeland which beats every other video game composer's scores any day, unique character designs, gems scattered across the realms, traveling through portals to access levels, bonus speedway levels where you fly through magical rings, whirlwinds to get to higher places, great voice acting by Tom Kenny, Greg Berger, Neil Ross, Andre Sogliuzzo, Michael Gough, Richard Tatum, Pamela Hayden, Carolyn Lawrence, Melissa Disney etc. That stuff has been gone for years. Now we have our beloved purple dragon stuck in the Skylanders franchise because Activision, Activision Blizzard and Toys for Bob took him out of his own franchise, duct taped him into Skylanders, axed his franchise and redesigned him so he can look like a "badass little dragon that appeals to children". Spyro was already a badass little dragon that appealed to kids (aswell as adults) and his franchise was really iconic, so there was absolutely no reason to kill off his franchise and completely change Spyro from what he once was.
Skylanders, while it is a good video game franchise, should not prevent Spyro from keeping his own franchise, despite Spyro being a character in Skylanders. Perhaps, we would like Spyro to get another chance at being one of the best video game franchises ever created by having his original PS1 games remade for the PS4 and maybe even recreate Enter the Dragonfly into what it was originally supposed to be if it were never rushed in development.
We know Skylanders is a really popular franchise now, but we think Skylanders should be kept in a separate timeline than the mainstream Spyro games. Look at Paper Mario and Toon Link, they are both in separate timelines from the Mario and Zelda universes, yet Nintendo still creates mainstream Mario and Zelda games because they respect their fans. Crash Bandicoot recently joined Skylanders aswell, and that Crash's franchise is in fact getting a revival at the same time. What about Spyro? This is not fair to Spyro fans at all. We've been longing for a Spyro game in the style of the originals for ages.
Sign the petition so Activision, Activision Blizzard, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Toys for Bob and Vicarious Visions can bring us the Spyro revival we have been asking years for! The more we spread the word, the better chances of the revival of Spyro we get!
