People should sign this petition to end these racial harassments, and to be treated as though they are humans and to be treated not by the color of their skins. I feel very passionate about this issue because I have a daughter. Her name is Lakesha McReynolds and a son who is a victim of this racial bias. My daughter was arrested in Bulloch County and there was no evidence on her. She was forced to take a plea because she was afraid after the judge denied all motions. Even though, the da stated he did not have evidence to prove. She is now serving time in prison. She had just had twins and spent only a week with her babies.We, the family are asking that Mr. Holder or someone in the justice department or reinvestigate this case in Bulloch County. Her civil rights were violated. I along with my child cries every day because she was arrested and there was no evidence . She was wrongfully arrested. This needs to stop in Bulloch County. I speak for my daughter, other blacks in the county. Blacks are being targeted. We hired an attorney, Mr. Kenneth Muhammad from Atlanta. Before he came to court, we had informed him that he should have someone from one of the organizations to sit along with him as he presented the case. We warned him that it would not be a fair case. He found out it was not fair The detective stated in court that if she had taken the case to trial, he would have lied and testified he saw her himself. Please come in and investigate the whole judicial system. The system is unfair.There are others that feel the same as my family. Look into the McReynolds case. Bring justice in Bulloch County.
