RSPCA Must Prosecute PM David Cameron For Animal Cruelty

Our Prime Minister David Cameron not so long ago went on a hunting trip that wiped out hundreds of defenceless wild pigeons because as one newspaper put it '...he had to take to the woods with a gun because he missed his deer hunting days so much'

At a time when the whole country is on high alert because of Islamic terrorism, our spoilt and out-of-touch toff PM used much-needed police resources, and instructed armed officers to seal off a wood near his home so he could blast to death defenceless wild pigeons.

It is ILLEGAL in this country to shoot wildlife but a special license is available to farmers and landowners to exempt them from this ban. I presume Mr Cameron has a permit. These pigeons were NOT a threat to any near-by crops. These pigeons did NOT need to be culled because their numbers were out of control.

These pigeons met a bloody and violent death because our PM still wishes to indulge in out-of-date upper-class traditions. Traditions that are contrary to our animal welfare laws and traditions that have no place in modern-day UK. The PM obviously enjoyed blasting these frightened and defenceless birds because he boasted he had filled three bags with birds. Some of the pigeons were perhaps only maimed by a bullet and probably died a slow and painful death.

The British press reported our PM's latest hunting trip as if it was normal for a grown-man who happened to be the PM of this country, to go around with a gun and blast to death defenceless pigeons. The fact that he used tax payers money was reported in a matter-of-fact way, as if he had a right to fund this hunting trip with our money.

You see he is from the upper-classes. He can do what he likes.

If a grown man from a council estate had ran amok in a wood with an air riffile and wiped out the entire wild pigeon population there just for the fun of it, the press would have taken this as an opportunity to demonise the 'lower-classes'. He would have been prosecuted for animal cruelty and for being in possesion of an offensive weapon. It's one law for us and another law for the upper-classes.

I do not begrudge Mr Cameron's wealth. His wealth is his birth right. Nor do I hate the upper classes. The upper classes keep the economy going and 'run the show' in this country. But what I do begrudge is how out of touch our PM is with the average man in the street. Right from the start Mr Cameron made it clear he was only out to protect the interests of the upper-classes and use the 'work house' mentality to reign in us 'peasants'.

While life has never been so tough for the average citizen, our PM rather than trying to improve our lot in life, is still prancing around as if he is still a student at Eton. He should have left his hunting wellies at the door when he entered 10 Downing Street as PM.

Whilst people were being thrown out of their homes because of the bedroom tax and London was seeing a vast exodus of people because of the housing benefit cap, our PM wanted to repeal the fox hunting ban.

Whilst 1 in 5 Brits use a food bank, our PM used our money to treat himself to a wild pigeon blasting orgy. Mr Cameron failed to make the transition from spoilt ex-Eton student to PM. He failed to understand he is the servant to the British public and NOT our master.

This money could have helped the homeless or fed a few hungry cats and dogs.

This latest hunting trip was one step too far. It was wrong of our PM to cruellly blast to death these pigeons. It was wrong to go on this hunting trip when he is the PM of this country. I want the RSPCA to prosecute Mr Cameron for animal cruelty. Just because he is from the upper-classes does not give him the right to blast to death our wildlife. Animal cruelty is contrary to our British values.  No matter what class you belong to if you harm an animal you must be prosecuted. He must be held accountable.
