Elected Official Dan Tavares Arriola of Tracy Ca and Director Nicholas Hatten of the San Joaquin Pride Center colluded to victimize community advocates through a smear campaign in order to use the plight of a disenfranchised community to win votes for a local election.
-Press release was written and authorized and sent out by both the SJ pride center and Arriola's campaign falsely slandering Patricia Alvarez of Tracy and Motec Sanchez of Stockton; wrongfully accused of creating a homophobic blog.
-Arriola Pulled and paid for the permit to hold a "Rally against Hate" under the false accusations against Alvarez & Sanchez after stating he had nothing to do with the event
-Neither Arriola or Hatten or the SJ Pride center have redacted the accusations and Hatten continues to perpetuate the accusations by falsely claiming physical threats were made by the accused and falsely stating law enforcement is involved as well as falsly claiming there is evidence yet over a month has passed with no proof.
-Arriola gained politically and financially by gaining sympathy votes fueled by media coverage days before Nov. election and requested $29 dollar donation for his birthday in order to continue to "fight hate".
-Arriola is an deputy district attorney that was well aware of Alvarez being victimized and having gone through a highly abusive situation that also involved online harassment,slander,violence and false accusations.
-Hatton through the SJ pride center has an extensive history of harassing Sanchez and other local activists and community members that do not align with political ideals and preferred candidates.
This petition is requesting the support of concerned residents of San Joaquin county willing to speak against such abusive behavior from those in power or those that desire to obtain it. A new precedence must be established!
This petition will be submitted to
-The Board of Directors of the San Joaquin Pride Center demanding the resignation or dismissal of Nicholas Hatton from the San Joaquin PRIDE Center for his liable and unethical actions against Alvarez and Sanchez
-Tracy City Council requesting Council Member Dan Tovares Arriola be sanctioned for his
unethical actions against his local constituent Patricia Alvarez and targeting Motec Sanchez with zero cause.
-San Joaquin County District Attorney Tori Verber requesting Deputy District Attorney
Dan Tovares Arriola be reprimanded for his actions regarding the re victimization of a
current resident under the protection of the District Attorney's Victim witness program as well as also targeting these two leaders of the Chicano community with politically motivated false accusations.
