I understand the need for a dramatic death in a show, however Marian's character is ABSOLUTELY necessary to continue the story of Robin Hood. I've only just started watching the show and fell in love with this character... Lucy Griffith's emotional interpretation is what has held me to this show. I have loved the legend of Robin Hood ever since I was a little girl, largely because of the Robin Hood-Maid Marian relationship. I fell in love with the show also largely because of this relationship. I was devastated when I thought she died, and I don't know if I'll watch the third season if she doesn't return. Okay I just want to talk about this Marian being dead after season 2. There is no way they can change what happened. Even if Marian comes back in season 3 of Robin Hood it has to fit with the last episode. It has to make sense. If Marian is alive they have to show that she came back from the dead. She died the only we to bring her back is if they do something like they did with the season 1 finale again. I heard Lucy Griffiths has signed on to a contract for Robin Hood season 3 anyways. She'll either appear in flashbacks throughout season 3 or as a ghost etc. However, having Marian appear as a real person not a ghost would be better. Nevertheless, they cannot change what happened. They cannot make it so she did not die. They can bring her back though. I think this petition is a bit far fetched although its purpose is good and honorable. Hence my signature!

A story about Robin Hood is not complete without Marian. All the episodes were wonderful when the viewer
knew that there was still hope for Marian and Robin to get together. After all, that is what the viewer was really interested in - getting Marian and Robin together. Your stories were interesting until the last one when most the actors seemed to be "out of character". Marian's dying ended everything!!! We have no desire to buy the
DVD's now or to watch the following episodes. Please bring Lucy Griffiths back as Marian so we will have a

Ttaking away the most important and best loved aspect of Robin Hood and his story is completely callous on the BBC's part. The show will not survive without Marian, and well it should not. This was my favorite show, but the callous way the writers contrived to kill Marian off (the last two episodes were atrocious... and not just because Marian died) has completely turned me from watching this show again. I will not be buying the second season or the first season on DVD, and will most certainly not be watching this show again... that is, unless our beloved Marian is returned to us. Robin cannot live without here. Neither can the show.

By killing off Marian you have ruined the story. She is such an essential character that the story line will not be the same. If you would like some ideas on how to bring her back, look at fanfiction.net or asks any of us.
