Save The Dolphins

Target:
Massive Killings
Sponsored by:
Each year, 20,000 dolphins are killed off the coast of Japan and by petitioning the Japanese Government to act against this slaughter we may be able to make a difference. These barbaric killings are subsidised by the sale of live dolphins by fishermen to the international aquarium market, which pays upwards of $45,000 for specimens to be used in dolphin shows and swim-with-dolphin entertainments. Right now American aquarium specialists are buying 12 bottlenose dolphins for the Ocean World amusement park in the Dominican Republic. This will subsidise more killings for meat products. The status of these species is often endangered and the killing methods are far from humane.

My name is Sandra Beck from Toledo, OH. I'm appalled at the article I read of the massive killings of these beautiful, fun-loving creatures. Has the world gone totally insane? I happen to be a collector of dolphins, one of my nicknames happens to also be Dolphin. We must protect these animals from barbarians who kill dolphins for the hell of it. What do these assassinine idiots think they're accomplishing? What is next? Human infants!! I'm sorry, but these people should be poached themselves, and leave the dolphins alone.
