Tell Facebook to stop selling puppies!

The Marketplace App on Facebook has a category in which they allow any user to sell puppies. This is wrong for so many reasons. Millions of dogs and cats are euthanized every year due to overpopulation and abuse. They simply are not wanted by anyone because there are TOO MANY of them. Facebook is promoting this blatant mistreatment of animals and I want you to join me in telling them that dogs are not comparable to computers, cars, or apartments for rent. Dogs (and cats) are living breathing things and should be not be treated as commodities to be created for income. People need to STOP breeding their dogs for pure profit and Facebook is giving people a platform to do just this. I'd like to add that I am well aware that there are many breeders out there who treat their dogs with respect and breed for the love of the breed. However I would argue that there are more people on Facebook selling puppies because they want money, not because they are reputable, licensed breeders. 
Please join me in telling Facebook that we disagree with this and to remove the Dog category immediately!
