Chicago Guns Down

Chicago was known for the Al Capone days, but what we don't recognize and bring to the forefront is our founding Father and Founding Mother of Chicago. Chicago is the central hub for trade and commerce. Point du Sable has become known as the "Founder of Chicago". 1Pioneer Court is a plaza located near the junction of the Chicago River and Upper Michigan Avenue in Chicago's Magnificent Mile. It is believed to be the site of Jean Baptiste Point du Sable's original residence and trading post. So, why does this area have no or little crime and Chicago Gun Crimes? It’s protected territory. But we are allowing our urban streets to be litter with daily crime? “Why?”

Chicago is known for more than "Murder Capital of United States of America".

Chicago has pride in all cultures and ethnic groups and religions. So, why are we keeping Aldermen/Alderwomen collecting pay checks and not doing the walking the streets to clean up the neighborhoods?

*I would love to see the FBI’s anti-terrorism resources used in that matter to stop would-be gang members from flooding the streets of the country’s third-largest city. Maybe Cornelius German, the boy found dead down the street from Obama’s house, would still be alive.2

"Why are we re-electing State or Mayoral Candidates that won't come on your block or neighborhood?" They are not providing any local community organizations to receive a major grant to make improvements to the neighborhood.

We have to realize -For every year, the number of adults involved in gangs is greater than the number of juveniles. This seems to make sense and lends credibility to the idea that many gang members probably don’t age out of gang banging. Though what may happen is older members become the shot callers rather than the workers. While there’s no doubt that many a juvenile gang member increase gang activity by becoming an adult offender.”

These are not “Children with Guns…”

"Why are we allowing the house next door to be vacant and abandon?"

"Why are we knowing the people having the GUNS, live next door?"

Take back your neighborhoods....It’s called Street terrorism and if its extreme and radical then equal force for equal problem....." Take back your neighborhoods....one house at a time!"

Even terrorism researchers often neglect to define the term other than by citing the basic U.S. Department of State (2004) definition of terrorism, contained in Title 22 of the United States Code, Section 2656f(d): "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience." And the State Department’s is but one definition of terrorism that exists in U.S. agencies. This is pure “ Street Terrorism…!!”

Talk to police officers in major gang cities and many will refer to the gangs as street terrorists.

Neither this nor the above quote is intended to suggest that American gangs are or should be considered terrorist groups, at least not yet. However, failure to discuss these connections may be at our own peril. Gangs, organized crime groups, and terrorist groups all play in the same space, the criminal space. We must rethink the artificial distinctions that have been made between them. Maple (1993) understood this with respect to individual criminals. We would do well to understand this with respect to gangs, organized crime groups and terrorists. While alliances are not the only way in which these groups may be connected, it is certainly one area in which we should shed more light on through research and the development of policy initiatives that may assist governmental agencies with the apprehension and prevention of criminal activity, including potential terrorist threats.

I challenge every Chicagoan to make a sticker to place / legally to say “ 'C.G.D' - Chicago Guns Down " upon the places you know that are - "GUNS"....allow the police to "GO GET THE GUNS".

It worked in Biblical days- paint the door post - allow the spirit of death to pass....

We need a candle light vigil and town hall meeting to start letting the State of Illinois and Governor Quinn and Mayor Mayor Rahm Emanuel that we want our city back, along with the pride that is here in Chicago....

Gang involvement has been seen in a wide variety of crime including drug and human trafficking, gun trafficking, robberies, and burglaries. The National Gang Information Center identified gangs as at least a moderate criminal threat in all reporting jurisdictions and as a significant threat in most (FBI, 2011). 3

“Place at your along your steps to say : Chicago Guns Down….We want our children to have a place to live & play” file:///C:/Users/Yoland%20Harris/Documents/11431-42228-1-PB.pdf

I am a Mother of three beautiful children, they are raised and grown.  I have grandchildren in Mo. where there is a “Civil War beginning”. I fear for the future generations. Our foremothers ‘are leaving earth, so it’s is to be it is up to ‘ME’. I ask you to: “Chicagoan Guns Down.”

“Don’t point guns at one another….the bullets you shot have gone astray and taken babies away…mines, yours, “Ours” the future.

My heart strings go out to all the families that this year and all the way back to summer of 1995, when I served as a CFD- EMT-II responder for FACT Team II in C.H.A. I have handled my share of youth bodies and seen more death in Chicago than they place on television of Isis and Iraq. Chicago has had more murders and youth deaths than all the troops from the war of Gulf War, Iraq and etc. I was once asked while assisting a “victim” of a gunshot wound would he live, but before I answered I asked the “victim” a question: “Will you pick up a gun again? Will you aim and shoot a person, again?” –I waited their agonized response while they were in agonizing pain. “victim answer: “ Never will I pick up a gun or shot someone..” I answered them: “ Great you may live….today you will but tomorrow if you live by the gun, you will die by the gun.” But our Chicagoan are not living by the GUN but they are dying by the GUN daily…innocently.

That’s not to say our Troops are not important because I am a Navy Veteran. I support our Troops just not the war that is not in our Country or for the People.

Our constitution was ‘suppose’ to be for the people by the people but we all know different...because after 110 years the constitution shall has not made certain amendments  to racism and issues of people of minority cultures or 'suppose immigrant' ethnic groups. The inner cities are plagued with 'Street terrorism more than Al-Qaeda.

Our own Government will not educate us or assist us in Chicago Street terrorism, FBI is called in on children murders but here in Chicago not one FBI high profiler has come to assist the Chicago area or Police on Gun Violence, but Chicago pushing an intuitive for medical marijuana?

Reason FBI has not placed an importance on ‘Our’ Children….not a money maker or apart of their policy….can we have someone start some policy changes and include – Gun Crimes against children to become top priority?

Here are listed FBI policy:

[ NO GUN CRIMES ]

My thoughts on that is commerce....trade....GREED....MONEY.....

Saving our Children and youth and Ethnic people is not profitable for CHICAGO constituents?
