Agriculture is KILLING our Monarch Butterflies!

The purpose of my biology project is to address the awareness of the endangered monarch butterfly.

As we speak, the beautiful monarch butterflies are dying mainly due to the over production of herbicides and chemicals due to agriculture. Cornfields and other plantations are replacing the milkweed plants which are the only source of food for the monarch butterfly.

As I child, I only saw a single monarch butterfly in my lifetime and now I understood why. By growing milkweed plants in your backyard, you can restore the monarch butterfly population and help protect this species
