We as loyal members of Indian Country affirm this petition in its entirety. We expect an immediate action on removal of the commisioner.

If you Identify as being an Indian in the state of Massachusetts and have reached out on several occasions for assistance from the Commission on Indian affairs and to the Executive Director, Mr. John "Jim" Peters and have felt that he has neglected your needs of his sworn in duties as executive Director, then this is why it would be of great importance to lend a supporting hand by signing this petition to unseat him.

The Commissions duties are to assist tribal councils, Native American organizations, and individuals in the areas of social services, education, employment opportunities, health, housing, civil rights, legal aid, treaties, a census of Native American residents, legislation, and any other rights or services concerning Native American residents of the Commonwealth.

The Commission is also responsible for making recommendations to the Commonwealth concerning programs and policies that will best serve the interest of Native American residents of the Commonwealth.

If you feel that the Executive director has neglected such duties to yourself or tribal community then please support this petition to see that we the people of Indian country in the state of Massachusetts receive Equality for all.
