Petticoat Junction will be removed from the ME-TV fall line-up effective 8-31-2015. In several FB Public groups, there are more than 2,500 members who watch, comment and interact with each other regarding the episodes aired on ME-TV. The show is unique as compared to most of the others ME TV airs. The setting, characters and various story lines and changes over its seven year run.

Dear Mr. Zander,

I am writing on behalf of the Facebook Administrators of "Petticoat Junction Fans" and Joan Ogden, Administrator of "We Love Paul Henning Shows". There are several other groups formed on Facebook solely created for fans of Petticoat Junction.

There is a combined fan base of over 2,600 members between the two groups and they are growing daily. Nine months ago "Fans of Petticoat Junction" had 400 members. Clearly word of mouth and a solid, clean, well written show is what attracts new members; and the fact this show is on TV to watch.

We understand that ME-TV has a large vault of shows to rotate. You need to add some shows understandably to keep the channel fresh and appealing. You make decisions based on a variety of factors I imagine (viewer requests, ratings from however you obtain them, advertisers, etc...).

Petticoat Junction has been on the air since ME-TV made its debut with one seasonal exception. We are hoping this is the case this time too. Many folks like to 'start their day right with Uncle Joe' as your clever promo tells us. The Summer of ME promo with the three girls returning in the water tower was genius and the talk for a long time after it aired. Perhaps the show is watched my many more folks than ME TV has thought.

Please, this letter is to ask you to give serious thought to bringing back Petticoat Junction to ME TV as soon as possible. We all enjoy ME-TV for this show and the many other quality shows you entertain us with.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best,

Dana R Kenyon
